PENGARUH SUDUT BLADE DATAR HOT ROLLED COIL TERHADAP KINERJA KINCIR AIR BREASTSHOT

ABSTRAK :
The main component of the MHP (Micro Hydro Powerplant) was a breastshot waterwheel. The wheel has a blade which serves to capture the action force of the water flow capacity to generate reaction force in the form of a wheel rotation. The blade is flate square, The blade angle affects the rotation of a wheel. To determine the maximum water impact, at the maximum wheel rotation, blade angle tilts were varied into 0 °, 10 °, 15 °, 20 ° and 25 °. Testing was conducted by shifting the blade angle tilt alternately. The generator connected waterwheel rotated when the water impact had potensial energy. The wheel rotation and generators were measured using a tachometer. The amount of electric current and the output voltage of the generator were measured using a digital multimeter. The 25º blade angle breastshot waterwheel generated the highest output with 68.1 Rpm whithout load wheel rotation, 2987 Rpm generator rotation, 22.70 Watt output power generator, 11% efficiency, and 21.08 Nm torque.
