ABSTRAK :
In the current era in the developing world, particularly in the health center - clinic is very hard to be found particularly specialist medical personnel. Though parents desperately need specialists in particular a specialist in the field of child health. He clinic staff often have difficulty in reaching a decision what diseases suffered by children due to lack of knowledge of infectious diseases caused by bacteria. This is where the role of an expert or an expert in the field of childhood diseases is needed. Therefore, to address these problems then it takes an expert system for diagnosing respiratory illness in young children so that these systems can be used to diagnose respiratory disease in young children by using Bayesian Network and Certianty Factor to know what type of illness suffered and solutions.
