PENGARUH VARIASI DIAMETER BRIKET BATUBARA BERBENTUK SILINDER TERHADAP LAJU PEMBAKARAN DI DALAM SEBUAH TUNGKU BAKAR


ABSTRAK
The combustion rate of collecting coal briquettes due to air flow rate were tested in locally fabricated test unit. The test of the effect of diameter size on the burning rate comprised of three sizes were 15 mm, 20 mm and 25 mm. The ambient air temperature prior to heater was 33°C for all tests. The air flow velocity was constant for all tests at 0.7 m/s. The arrangement of briquettes was arranged with precision space on the stove where has any hollow that is useful to regulate the airflow. The methods of its burning i.e. with observed the collecting of briquettes which is entrance to stove and then burning out until to become an ash. There are some advantages with use coal briquettes to compare another fuel such as price, safety and economical reasons. On this paper will observe about the influence of burning rate on the collecting of briquettes with cylindrical shape. The cylindrical shape a simplify to make a pattern and its processing. Both are have advantages that is a cheaper of pattern prepared and simple procedure
