PENGARUH MODIFIKASI LUBANG INLET OUTLET DAN SILINDER HEAD TERHADAP KENAIKAN PUTARAN DAN DAYA PADA MESIN BENSIN DUA LUBANG SATU SILINDER UNTUK SEPEDA MOTOR


ABSTRAK
This research studiesabout the influence of modifications inlet outlet hole and cylinder
head to the increase in rotation and power of spark ignition engine two stroke singlecylindersof
motorcycles. As research material used brand Yamaha FIZR of motorcycle engine
and research tools used digital tachometer to measure engine speed and dynamometer to
measure torque. This research done by modifying the outlet port duration of 126 ° to 185 °, the
duration of the inlet holes of 71 ° to 97°, and hole transfer of 78° to 87°. This modifications
done by reducing the thickness of the grout on the cylinder head of 1 mm and widened squish
from 7 mm to 8 mm. This research was carried out with two testing, the testing of performance
of engine standards and the testing of performance of engine after modified. The test results
are compared to know how big the influence of modification. From these results, it can be seen
that there is an increased rotation of 2000 rpm and a power of 0.038% and scavenging
efficiency of 0.00024%.
